Imperial Healthcare Center is fully focused on the seriousness of COVID-19, and share the great concerns of our residents and their families, our caregivers, and the local communities we serve. We carefully follow the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) to help reduce the potential spread of this virus, and are keeping current on any updates or revised recommendations made by the CDC and the LACDPH. Imperial Healthcare Center is also adhering to the Guidance being transmitted from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on this situation, and the expectations associated with that Guidance. The leadership at Imperial Healthcare Center is fully dedicated to doing all we can to minimize the impact of this pandemic in our building and community. The COVID-19 environment changes daily, and we are both nimble and poised to respond as these changes occur.
The goal of Imperial Healthcare Center is infection prevention and control, and delivering quality care to the residents whom we have the privilege to serve. Our leaders and caregivers are ever aware of the trust that has been given to them, and are embracing the opportunity to keep our residents and team members safe.
We express gratitude to all who have offered support to the thousands of “heroes without capes” – those individuals who are working tirelessly every day to provide outstanding care to each resident we serve, while navigating the unique challenges associated with the COVID-19 crisis. To quote Vice-President Mike Pence: “The skilled nursing industry is better referred to as a ‘ministry.’ On behalf of a grateful nation, we thank all the men and women for their dedicated service.”
